Studio 60
June 27, 2007The last episode of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip airs tomorrow. I’m a little irritated that it’s ending on a four part “to be continued” series, but that’s ok.
Paul McCartney interview with The A.V. Club
June 27, 2007Paul McCartney is still fantastic.
AVC: When one of your songs comes on the radio, what do you do? Sing along? Turn it off?
PM: I listen. It’s just a great feeling, man. I mean, it’s like you’re a kid again. In fact, it happened just the other day. I was in London, and “Dance Tonight,” the lead track of the new album, came on, and I rolled down the windows and almost started shouting at this lady, “Hey! That’s me! On the radio!” I resisted, but I wanted to. I thought she might think I was being a bit stupid. But I very nearly did it. That’s still the feeling I get.
Today
June 26, 2007No entries today (besides this one, of course). I went over to the parents’ place and hung some blinds.

Girl’s feet severed on ride at Six Flags in Kentucky
June 22, 2007I’ve been to Kentucky Kingdom a few times. That doesn’t make me want to go back.
A girl’s feet were cut off Thursday when a free-fall thrill ride malfunctioned at the Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom Amusement Park in Louisville, Kentucky, police said.A cord wrapped around the 16-year-old’s feet and severed them at her ankles while she was on the “Superman Tower of Power,” a police dispatcher said. The girl was taken to a local hospital. An unidentified witness told CNN affiliate WLKY she saw a cable on the ride snap.

Best and worst ISPs
June 22, 2007PCWorld has an article that rates the best and worst ISPs according to survey data. Charter, my ISP, is the worst on the chart. At least BellSouth is average.
I still just don’t see the point of Twitter. I don’t want to tell people every little thing I do in my day. Maybe if all of my friends were doing it too. Maybe.
